The studio has revealed that Marvel Zombies will return with three new Halloween specials focusing on Winter Soldier, GOTG, and Moon Knight. Each special comes around Halloween each year, starting with Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier in 2027 and Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu for 2028. Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian rounds out the lineup in 2029. Marvel has not confirmed the exact release dates for any of these animated projects. The Direct reports that the story could involve Danny Rand and the zombie outbreak. EA has discounted its 2023 action game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, by a massive 85% on the PlayStation Store. Surprisingly, the PS5 version is cheaper than the PS4 version during the sale. As of this writing, the PS5/PS5 Pro version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is $10.49 on the PlayStation Store. The PS4 version is 75% off at $12.49, while the cross-gen bundle is $23.99. Interested buyers have almost two weeks to buy, as the sale runs until October 22, 2026. What to expect from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor before you buy Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up a few years after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Players step into Cal Kestis’s boots on a new adventure as he tries to dismantle the galactic empire. The sequel runs on Unreal Engine 5 and features cinematic assets, new Force powers, dual-wielding lightsabers, and more. Like the first game, Jedi: Survivor features a Metroidvania-inspired level, but with larger, more open-ended maps to explore. PS5 Pro owners will also enjoy it at higher resolution, with ray-traced effects in performance mode. While its launch was riddled with performance issues, multiple patches over the years have improved its stability. Jedi: Survivor was originally only developed for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles. However, following the game’s successful launch, it was ported to PS4 and Xbox One the following year. Respawn Entertainment developed it; the studio also made the beloved Titanfall games and Apex Legends. The third Star Wars Jedi game is also expected to be revealed soon. However, Reacher creator Lee Child has taken the joke as a compliment rather than an insult. According to ScreenRant, in the first episode of Season 5, former superhero The Worm is shown writing a script for Reacher. The scene describes Reacher as “massive” before a woman comments on his size. The scene then takes a more NSFW turn, playing on the character’s reputation for his imposing physique. Speaking to ScreenRant, Child explained that he was happy to see Reacher mentioned on another popular show. “I’m always happy. Any mention whatsoever is always good. I mean, seriously, that is the thing you hope for: first of all, you write a book and some people buy it, and then it becomes a well-known book series. And then at some other, later point, which for Reacher was probably about eight or ten years into the book series, he then migrates outward into the general culture. I just love that people know who he is and would want to make a joke about him. That’s fantastic,” Child said. The Boys may be over, but a new prequel show is on the way Lee Child explained that seeing Reacher referenced outside his own books and television series is a sign of how far the character has come. Sony Pictures is backing the project, with Marielle Heller directing the drama. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sterling K. Brown has joined The Comebacker. The project adapts a short story by acclaimed author Dave Eggers and serves as a love letter to baseball. It follows an older baseball reporter who rediscovers his passion for the sport after a promising young pitcher enters his life. Heller previously worked with Hanks on A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, which earned Hanks an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Fred Rogers. Hanks is also returning to the baseball genre decades after starring in the 1992 classic A League of Their Own. The Comebacker also marks Hanks’ third project based on Eggers’ writing.
