Photo Credit - 20th Century Fox Paramount could add Elon Musk as a potential investor after a promising update on its Warner Bros. Discovery deal. It recently cleared a major hurdle in an antitrust lawsuit. According to a report from Semafor, Paramount executives have discussed asking Elon Musk to join an equity syndicate as the company seeks fresh sources of cash. At the same time, it moves forward with its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. Notably, the report is preliminary, and Paramount has not confirmed Musk’s potential involvement. Paramount is exploring new sources of financing as the Warner Bros. deal moves forward The latest report also claims that Paramount CEO David Ellison may approach the tech billionaire and SpaceX CEO for a potential investment because of Musk’s longstanding ties to David’s father and Oracle founder Larry Ellison. Another reason why Musk may join Paramount is that Larry is partly involved in its $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery. He has personally guaranteed over $40 billion of the equity financing for Paramount’s acquisition of Warner Bros. Musk is one of the several wealthy individuals that Paramount may consider for investment. As for its ambitious deal, the company recently settled an antitrust lawsuit initially filed by the Attorneys General of 12 states. The lawsuit was led by California’s Rob Bonta, who had strongly criticized the merger. Paramount CEO David Ellison reached an agreement with the attorneys general a few days ago. According to a source, Bonta stated that he would hold Paramount’s “feet to the fire” to ensure the company stuck to its commitments for proposed structural remedies. The commitments include Paramount’s agreement to certain guardrails for CNN, financial penalties tied to Ellison’s promise
Credits: Warner Bros. Pictures Clayface has unveiled another disturbing look at Matt Hagen’s transformation into the DCU’s iconic Batman villain. The latest poster pushes the film’s body-horror approach further, showing Hagen’s human features breaking down into a grotesque clay form. Matt Hagen (played by Tom Rhys Harries) appears trapped between his human identity and the creature taking over his body. His face seems to melt into thick layers of clay, while a single eye remains visible through the distorted surface. The artwork also mixes his changing form with a decaying Gotham skyline, making the city appear to dissolve alongside him. Descending into the chaos. One month to go. Show us your #ClayfaceMovie art. #FanArt pic.twitter.com/7nN6oJUAWS— Clayface Movie (@ClayfaceMovieDC) September 23, 2026 What is the new DCU Clayface movie about? The new Clayface movie follows Matt Hagen, a rising Gotham actor whose career is destroyed after a violent attack leaves him disfigured. Desperate to restore his appearance, he undergoes an experimental treatment that initially brings back his old face. However, the procedure also changes his body and gives him the ability to reshape himself. James Watkins directs the movie from a script by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini. Naomi Ackie also stars, with the story taking the DCU into body-horror territory rather than traditional superhero action. DC has described the film as a horror movie set within the new DC Universe. The poster follows several other unsettling promotional images released ahead of the movie. Recent artwork has increasingly focused on Hagen’s unstable transformation instead of revealing Clayface as a finished monster. That approach keeps his changing identity central to the movie’s visual campaign. Clayface is schedu

(Photo Credit: Steven Hirsch-Pool/Getty Images) Former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for past sexual assault crimes. The new verdict came on Wednesday following an overturned conviction and two subsequent mistrials. Weinstein was convicted of sexually assaulting former production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006. Variety reported on the new sentencing, following his 2022 California conviction and his separate New York conviction involving Haley, which was overturned in 2024 and later retried. Weinstein is also expected to face resentencing in California for his conviction for raping and sexually assaulting Italian model and actor Evgeniya Chernyshova in 2013. The state of California has yet to decide whether Weinstein’s resentencing will run concurrently. Harvey Weinstein is expected to spend the rest of his life in prison Weinstein’s latest sentencing has nearly guaranteed that the former producer and sex offender will spend the rest of his life in prison. “It has often felt like I was the one on trial,” said Haley. “This process has been the worst decision of my life, for me personally. I considered pulling out so many times.” Weinstein’s actions and the subsequent reporting around them prompted the initial wave of the #MeToo movement. During the recently concluded trial, Weinstein was serving his 16-year California sentence. Before sentencing, Weinstein’s defense cited his health problems while asking the judge for a nine-year sentence. Weinstein, 74, has faced various health issues in recent years. Despite multiple retrials and convictions, Weinstein “hasn’t shown an ounce of remorse,” as said by New York assistant district attorney Nicole Blumberg. The DA asked Judge Curtis Farber for a 20-year sentence in her closing st
