Two teenagers rescued after getting lost near popular Dénia hiking hotspot

Two teenage hikers were rescued from the Montgó in Dénia after becoming lost during a route and running out of both food and water. The 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy had been walking for around three hours when they became disorientated and were unable to continue safely. The incident happened on Sunday, September 27, with emergency services receiving the alert at 4.44pm. Source
