Mumbai, October 22, 2026: CCTV footage from RR Residency in Andheri East shows the accused in the firing case involving actor Tiger Shroff leaving the hotel about three hours before the attack in Juhu on October 18.The footage, recorded between 4.12 pm and 4.13 pm, shows one of the accused leaving the hotel with a blue bag allegedly containing a pistol. Police intercept SUV with fake Presidency number plate in FCT

Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command have arrested a suspect allegedly impersonating a Permanent Secretary attached to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.The suspect was arrested on October 20, 2026, after police operatives intercepted a Lexus LX570 SUV bearing a fake Presidency number plate in Maitama District, Abuja.The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday.According to the PPRO, the vehicle and its occupant were immediately taken into custody for investigation and possible prosecution.She said preliminary investigations revealed that the concealed number plate bore the inscription 'PRESIDENCY' and registration number 10B218 FG.Adeh added that although the suspect claimed to be the legitimate holder of the number plate, further investigations established that the registration documents were forged.The police spokesperson said the suspect was also found to have allegedly impersonated a Permanent Secretary attached to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.Police intercept SUV with fake Presidency number plate in FCT

Mother, newborn, others die in bandits' captivity in Kaduna

Eight residents, including a mother, her two daughters, a newborn baby and four others, have reportedly died in captivity six months after abduction in Kaduna State.The victims were among 11 residents abducted when bandits stormed Awon community in Kachia Local Government Area of Southern Kaduna on April 20, 2026.The abductors initially demanded N300 million and 23 motorcycles as ransom.
