Luke Grimes will reprise his role as Kayce Dutton as he continues his work with the U.S. Marshals and deals with the ongoing saga involving his family. Marshals Season 2 arrives on CBS and Paramount+ next month According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marshals Season 2 is set to return to CBS on October 4, 2026, bringing Luke Grimes back as Kayce Dutton. New episodes will air on Sunday nights, with each chapter arriving on Paramount+ the following day. The second season will continue the story of Kayce after his exit from the Yellowstone Ranch and his move into law enforcement in Montana. With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Kayce has joined an elite U.S. Marshals unit in Montana. The former cowboy and Navy SEAL now uses both sides of his background in his work as a marshal, taking on violence across the region alongside his new teammates. However, the job also comes with a psychological cost, and Kayce must honor his responsibilities to his family and the people he has remained close to. The Season 1 finale left Kayce and his son Tate in danger, setting up another difficult situation for the father and son as the story moves into its second season. Kayce must therefore navigate the demands of his new career while dealing with the risks surrounding those closest to him. Alongside Luke Grimes returning as Kayce Dutton, the new season’s cast will also include Logan Marshall-Green as Pete Calvin, Arielle Kebbel as Belle Skinner, Ash Santos as Andrea Cruz, and Tatanka Means as Miles Kittle. The New York Knicks star and 2026 NBA Finals MVP is making his hosting debut on the Season 52 Premiere of Saturday Night Live (SNL), which airs live tonight. This latest gig will notably make Brunson the first active NBA player to host the show since LeBron James in 2007. While Brunson is hosting, the global K-pop girl group KATSEYE will also make their debut on the iconic sketch comedy series as musical guests. Colin Jost, meanwhile, returns as a repertory player. The long-awaited episode will broadcast on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT and stream live simultaneously on Peacock. As reported by Variety, Universal has crossed $5 billion globally for the third time in its history, helped by The Odyssey’s box-office performance. The studio is also notably the first to reach this milestone in 2026. The Odyssey follows the Greek hero Odysseus as he spends 10 years trying to return home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film became Universal’s highest-grossing film in the studio’s history, grossing $1.7 billion from box offices worldwide. The movie is even ranked No. 10 among MPA films of all time internationally. With this week’s grosses, Universal-distributed flicks have successfully collected $1.788 billion domestically and $3.218 billion internationally to date. This box office haul notably comes from the blockbuster projects from Universal Pictures, Illumination, DreamWorks Animation, and Focus Features.
