Samuel L. Jackson Lands to Texas in 'Frisco King' Spin-Off Series Teaser
"See how far you can take it..." Paramount+ has revealed a first look teaser for Frisco King, the next new spin-off series based on Taylor Sheridan's "Tulsa King" crime thriller series with Sylvester Stallone. This one is set down in Texas, of course it is, when ex-con Russell Lee Washington Jr. escapes from Oklahoma. In Frisco King, Samuel L. Jackson reprises the role of Russell Lee Washington Jr., this time lording over a Texas suburb. Sent by the mob to kill Dwight while in Tulsa, he's instead inspired to build his own criminal empire in Frisco. The series premieres on December 18th with two episodes followed by new episodes every Friday. Jackson’s character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., was first introduced in the third season of Tulsa King last month. In addition to Jackson, this next new series stars Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann, with a special appearance by Sylvester Stallone (returning as Dwight Manfredi). "Frisco may not know it yet, but its new king has arrived." Lee finds a hustler's playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia. Recruiting an ambitious protégé, a loyal driver, and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee transforms small hustles into big business. Anyone ready to watch now?
