Beyond its subject matter and cinematography, the film’s presentation, which includes reenactments, has captured the attention of fans and critics alike while making waves on the awards circuit. The documentary also features an NSFW scene involving Billy Evans, the partner of Elizabeth Holmes, who is the film’s central subject. In the scene, Evans is shown showering. Co-director Lance Oppenheim has now revealed that the idea for the scene came from Evans himself. In an interview with GQ, Oppenheim revealed that Billy himself offered to let the crew film him showering. The director also shared his thoughts on what might have prompted Billy to make the unusual suggestion. Recalling the conversation, Oppenheim stated, “We were in the car ride on the way back from the gym, and I said to Billy, ‘We will give you some time to shower.’ And Billy responded, ‘Want to film me showering?’ I offered to film him in a way that could avoid seeing his genitals, but Billy said he didn’t care about being seen naked.” Speculating as to why Billy Evans was fine with the idea, Oppenheim said, “So I don’t know what that means, but I feel like there’s enough stuff in there that gives me the impression that maybe he was excited that people could see everything and that there was full access, I guess. But it really beats me, honestly.” You Can See Everything is expanding to more movie theaters this weekend A24 has announced that You Can See Everything will expand to an additional 2,500 theaters this coming weekend, marking its second weekend in theaters. The adaptation of Stephen King’s debut novel takes several liberties with the source material, including shifting the story’s setting 50 years into the future. However, despite the criticism, Prime Video has announced that the series will return for a second season. Now that the show’s streaming numbers are becoming public, it’s easier to understand why Amazon decided to continue the series. With rave reviews from critics and a No. 1 ranking among Prime Video shows in multiple major markets, Carrie had a strong case for a second season, even as fans wonder how the story will continue. What are Stephen King fans saying about Carrie Season 2? The biggest concern fans have about a second season of Carrie is how the story will continue. The first season adapted the entire novel but made a slight change to its ending. With Carrie surviving the events of the finale, it remains unclear what Season 2 will explore. Many fans believe that continuing the story could unnecessarily stretch the narrative. However, show creator Mike Flanagan said, “For 50 years, audiences have known and gravitated to Carrie White’s story. From the beginning, we imagined a story that goes far beyond the prom, and I’m incredibly grateful for Stephen’s trust and support in exploring what comes next.” With Stephen King himself involved in what comes next for Carrie White, the character’s story appears to be in good hands. King famously objected to the changes made to Jack Torrance in The Shining, as he felt the film reduced the character to a more one-dimensional figure. In contrast, Carrie has not only updated its titular character but also added more nuance to her portrayal. King’s involvement, therefore, suggests that
