Paul Pogba increasingly likely to complete a blockbuster MLS switch
Paul Pogba is most likely to complete a blockbuster MLS switch, according to experienced transfer specialist Ekrem Konur. While the former World Cup winner might have officially joined Monaco on a two-year deal back in June 2025, Pogba drastically failed to make any kind of impact at the Stade Louis II and could only muster six appearances for the French heavyweights last season. Although a return to his homeland might have been granted after serving a doping suspension that he received while at Juventus, Pogba’s career has completely stalled and the 33-year-old now finds himself as a free agent. With Monaco announcing back in August that they had mutually agreed to terminate his contract after just a single downbeat campaign, there has been plenty of speculation as to where Pogba will end up next. However, despite links over a big-money move to the Middle East, Konur is suggesting that a North American switch is the most likely destination for the former Manchester United superstar. Despite dealing with off-field issues and some serious injury concerns over the past 12 months, Konur is reporting that Pogba’s representatives are keen on completing a free switch to the MLS and they have already held discussions behind the scenes. It has been suggested that the likes of New York City FC, DC United and Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami have all been approached over what would be a sensational free swoop. #TransferNews Paul Pogba, now a free agent after his contract with Monaco was terminated, is most likely to move to MLS.
