Saudi Arabia also called for the entire Middle East region to be free of weapons of mass destruction, demanding that nuclear programmes be subject to international oversight, verification and safeguards. India also voiced support for the Palestinian people. Its Foreign Minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, affirmed that the world’s most populous country believes a durable and lasting peace requires a two-state solution. Iceland’s Foreign Minister, Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, criticised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for referring to delegates who walked out during his speech as “moral cowards”. “Moral cowards are those who refuse to sit down and negotiate just and lasting peace,” she said. “Those leaders who deny access to humanitarian aid for people in desperate need.” Gunnarsdóttir said moral cowards repeatedly violate and disrespect international law, adding that “the horrors in Ukraine and the Middle East” should not make other crises invisible. DAILY POST reports that Blessing recently lost her second son, Bryan Onyedikachi, while she was still in prison. Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Foundation, made the development public in a viral video on Friday evening while soliciting financial assistance for Blessing. However, confirming the news in a phone conversation with actress Doris Ogala, Blessing denied giving Amira Agiye permission to announce her son’s death. Sharing the voice conversation with Blessing, Ogala said: “Please oo, if you have donated money, go and collect your money back from that lady. Blessing says she doesn’t know the lady. She didn’t ask her to raise money for her. “I’m aware that Blessing is almost done with her bail conditions and process, but saying that she’s soliciting for N56 million is a lie.
