Post-Apocalyptic Survival + Spooky Guests in 'Hallowarrior' Trailer

"Just wait until our family gets a load of you..." Shudder has debuted the official trailer for an indie genre thriller film titled Hallowarrior, made by filmmaker Ben Sottak as his first feature film. Of course this is debuting in October just before Halloween streaming on Shudder this fall. Desperate for companionship on a post apocalyptic Halloween night, the Last Girl on Earth gets more than she bargained for, when far more sinister guests arrive on her doorstep. Starring Milly Shapiro (the sister girl from Hereditary!), along with Ajani Russell, AJ Bowen, and Shannyn Sossamon. Director Ben Sottak states: "Hallowarrior is a love letter to horror and Halloween, and I am thrilled that the film has found its home... It's an honor to have Hallowarrior join the Shudder family, and a treat to introduce their audience to this fun, scary, gory film along with its badass lead, Pumpkin, played by the incredible Milly Shapiro." New US Trailer for Chicken Movie 'Hen' Following a Bird on the Run

"Look at this beautiful hen. A second chance." Dekanalog has debuted an official US trailer for the kooky fun animal movie titled Hen, a story of a chicken on the run in Greece. Also known as The Hen or κότα in Greek - this premiered at TIFF 2025 last year and has been playing in many countries during 2026 already. This clever film follows a Leghorn chicken who escapes from an industrial farm and wanders until finding a home in the chicken coop of a small family-owned restaurant tied to a human smuggling ring. It was shot entirely in Greece and features 8 separate Hungarian chickens in the lead role of the "hen" – named Eszti, Szandi, Feri, Enci, Eti, Eniko, Nora, and Anett. 🐔 Yep they're all cuties! Hen follows a chicken on the road navigating the pecking order of a crumbling seaside restaurant in Greece. As she fights to protect her eggs, she becomes an unwitting witness to the complex human lives around her as the restaurant is caught up in greed, smuggling, and the migrant crisis. Reminds me of those donkey movies Eo and Au Hasard Balthazar, which are no doubt an inspiration for this tale. This looks delightful! A fresh new adaptation of the iconic pirates adventure novel of the same name from Robert Louis Stevenson, originally published in 1883. Jim Hawkins sets sail aboard the Hispaniola, but as the crew closes in on Captain Flint’s treasure, loyalties begin to fracture and Long John Silver’s ambitions emerge. Starring David Oyelowo as Long John Silver, Hayley Atwell as Bess Hawkins, and Tom Sweet as Jim Hawkins, with Jack Huston, Tomer Capone, Craige Els, Tristan Sturrock, and Neil Pendleton. Jim Hawkins discover a treasure map, but his mother Bess's actions put them both in danger.
