Retired brigadier Anupam Sharma, deputy inspector general of CTC, Neemuch, attended as the chief guest.Addressing the gathering, Sharma recalled the Oct 21, 1959, attack by Chinese troops on a CRPF patrol at Hot Springs in Ladakh, in which 10 personnel were killed. He read out the names of police and security personnel martyred between September 2025 and Aug 31, 2026. A wreath-laying ceremony and silence paid tribute to the martyrs. Pantry Vendors Attack 22-Year-Old Passenger At Rani Kamlapati Station In Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 22-year-old passenger was beaten up by pantry vendors aboard the Delhi-Bengaluru Duronto Express at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station on Tuesday evening. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The Government Railway Police (GRP) have registered a case and detained three suspects for questioning.According to reports, the incident occurred when the train arrived at Rani Kamlapati station. Armaan Khan, a resident of Bengaluru, was travelling in an AC coach and was stepping out to buy milk when he found the way blocked by pantry vendors loading food items on the train.When Khan objected, an argument broke out between him and the vendors. The dispute escalated, following which around six people allegedly pulled him down from the coach and assaulted him, causing chaos on the platform. Passengers present at the spot recorded the incident on their mobile phones and uploaded the video on social media, which went viral.Rani Kamlapati GRP police station in-charge Amit Sharma said the complainant had initially lodged an FIR at Amla following the incident. The case diary was later transferred to Rani Kamlapati GRP, where the case was formally registered. Navi Mumbai Tragedy: 2 Boys Aged 9 And 10 Drown In Vashi's Kopri Lake While Retrieving Money Offered During Navratri Immersion

Navi Mumbai: Two boys aged nine and 10 drowned in Kopri village lake in Vashi on Wednesday morning after entering the water to retrieve money thrown into the lake during Navratri immersion rituals. The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Sujit Gupta (9) and Golu Mansoori (10).Incident Occurs After ImmersionThe incident occurred around 10.30 am, a day after Goddess Durga idols and ghat pots were immersed in the lake. Both boys, residents of Kopri village, had entered the water along with their friends to collect the money offered during the immersion rituals. However, they misjudged the depth of the water and drowned.Police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and launched a search operation. The bodies of both boys were subsequently recovered from the lake and sent to Vashi Hospital for further procedures.Accidental Death Report Registered“An accidental death report has been registered in connection with the incident.
